Reunion 10:21
Running out of time, letting life, drift by Falling through the eye of the figure Endless vacuum Blackness broods, the self has vanished Scattered past you And I just labored To get you And I Hold you, hold you, hold you And I Hold you to the moment you die Who will know that no, you don’t need me That you don’t, you don’t know, But don’t, don’t leave me Can I, Can I work to release you No I, No I, couldn’t find a way Did you meet your sleeping mother? Did you, did you meet your sleeping mother? Can I meet your sleeping mother? Can I, Can I meet your sleeping mother? And as I walked away I found I walked right to your arms Oh you’re not dead you’re not all done I’ve gone straight to your heart Oh, you and her, your innocence, was never ever far And then she woke, you both are here Renewed and loved so far Oh, Lifted up, then, from the Earth, you live forever great And how you have advanced yourself You shaped your holy place Oh, Now you are eternally, Shrouded by that grace That I should hope to know someday When I see your face Oh, When I see you and your mother in that lovely space Spiritual eternity Is what we’ll embrace

Ewer 06:36
Feeling in your golden heart I feel it glowing with the blood of life Wondering where it’s going so I know that You are human Stopping at the sight and sound Beats become invasive, ever loud Running through the veins progressing out Into the body High up limbs of crimson trees Ceasing through eruption, flowing free Powerful the river, of the leaving Graceful movement Might it be far away, yeah it might be Rushing the blood away, oh it’s frightening Having the life you lost, is enlightening Is this the life you lost, yeah it might be

Glass Eye 03:22
All you need is to dream, of the sad old world, all you need, all you need Could it be that the dream, of the sad old world, is believed, is believed All you need is to dream, of a sad world, all you need, all you need Could it be that the dream, of a sad world, is believed, believed Clear glass eye, One goodbye Westward sights homeward die Westwards sights homeward die

Cowl 09:04
Deathly things culled Ruling ropes the grip has told Last of it waits Upon you, the cowl of gold In the skyline Heavy hands shield as night dies Telling white lies Escapading the likewise By the silo Hearing turning that flies slow Of a bright tone Choirs sing top a wide stone Lifting the flowing cowl last night Fleeting importance spins all plight The veiled and secure hides no more Of gold it was then having torn Does it get better? (x4) Framing infractions; dealing slight Tailored injustice does none right They turned to stone I found the floor And woke up drowning near the shore Does it get better? (x4) Will I get better? (x4)

Sooth 04:29
Hang your eyes In time Away Though you grow In time To stay Rest your sighs And try To wait Summoned soon Your eyes To lay If it’s greater than they really know, they won’t let go of their Own lives They don’t need to stay, but why throw away Their only lives They don’t need to stay but why throw away Their lives Instead, they’d come, to life, revived, they be, alright, they’ll be alright, in time away, away Graze the gallows Bishops hallow Fruitless convey soulless mainstay, and then let go - of thine Own lives They don’t need to stay, but why throw away Their only lives They don’t need to stay but why throw away Their lives

Maker scream For signs past a dream Lately gone I need your lead Foreign cloud Of night star flees Painted sky I run from, alarmed But all these fears, are the same, no caring What all, my life, means to who who love me Flowing out, the majesty Raining down, a glorious scene Soul sojourned; cautious be It’s hard to know, the hardest thing It’s hard to know, the hardest thing It’s hard to know, the hardest thing It’s hard to know, the hardest thing Thing, Thing Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Falling down; a travesty Soaring bound, the air-willed wings Shameless bird, in morning sing It hardly knows, the hardest thing It hardly knows, the hardest thing It hardly knows, the hardest thing It hardly knows, the hardest thing It hardly knows, the hardest thing My dear, you mistake yourself All things we have held dear In waiting for the veil to shade Your mind, your mind You came to me Saw me in your dream For new things to be For me you did And you let me, let me in You let me, let me in ahhahahahah You let me, let me ahhahahahahh You let me, let me in You let me, let me in You let me, let me in

about

"Giver Takes" is the second full-length album by Pleasance House. It is the culmination of many melodic ideas and varying styles which range from the abstract, to the metaphorical, to the spiritual. Musically, what is presented on the album varies widely from track to track, though when listened to in order, it is (theoretically) designed to flow together.
